Who is Quirkworx?

Quirkworx Limited is a brand strategy and design business based in New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

If you have any questions, email hello@quirkworx.co.

What we collect

When you contact Quirkworx. If you use the contact form or email, we collect your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to manage that work.

When you browse the site. We use analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people found it. This records things like your browser type, device and approximate location based on your IP address. It doesn’t tell us who you are.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies: one for analytics, and technical cookies that help the site load quickly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

Who sees your information

We don’t sell or share your information. It’s stored with our website host on servers in Australia, and in our email accounts. If we work together, your details may also be held in the business software we use for things like invoicing.

Some pages may include content from other websites, such as images or video. Those sites may collect information about you under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you become a client, we keep business records for seven years, as New Zealand tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Email hello@quirkworx.co and we’ll respond within 20 working days.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
